Stratis Al. Molinos

Stratis Al. Molinos was born in 1940 in Mytilini where he finished high school. He studied chemistry at the Kapodistrian University of Athens and then Business Administration in Switzerland. He worked in an American multinational company for thirty-five years in various managerial positions up to the highest position of General Manager. He is married and has three children and eight grandchildren.

For many years he was a member of the Board of Directors. and President of the "Parish of Lesbos" of Athens. At the same time, he is engaged in writing. Specifically with the research and analysis of the geographical history of his island, such as old maps, old toponyms, castles, etc.

He has worked and written about Al. Papadiamantis and his work and his brief collaboration with lesbian scholars. He also emphatically studies and records Greek and lesbian folklore in all its forms.

Until now, he has delivered to the reading public twenty-four books on subjects based on the above performances as well as a respectable number of studies on various historical, social, or other subjects of mainly content from Lesbos island. He regularly writes articles in magazines and newspapers.
